The flexible propolis grid from StanzPress was specially developed for use in beekeeping. It enables the hygienic, effective and sustainable harvesting of propolis directly from the bee colony – with minimal effort and maximum yield.

Application – uncomplicated and efficient

The propolis grid is placed directly on the frames under the inner cover , just like a traditional lid replacement (e.g., wax cloth or foil) . The fine openings are designed so that the bees cannot pass through them, but instinctively seal them with propolis to regulate air exchange and the microclimate.

Harvesting propolis – quick & clean

1. After the season : Remove the rack and freeze for approximately 1 hour.
2. After freezing : Propolis can be easily removed as granules by gently bending the grid.
3. Reuse : The grid can be reused hundreds of times – simply clean and reuse.

The tensile strength of the grid was tested in 2024 in the laboratory of the company ELTEST (
