Nuc & Mate hive – Versatile and efficient nuc hive

The Nuc & Mate hive was specially developed to simplify beekeeping and make it more profitable. This versatile nuc hive is ideal as an economical mating unit , for expanding your apiary , or for selling nucs .

High-quality material & durability:

Robust polystyrene – Made from extra-hard, food-grade polystyrene with a density of over 100 kg/m³ for a long service life of several decades.

Safe handling & optimal ventilation:

🚚 Transport securing – During transport, the prey is secured with a strap.
🪨 Stable fixation – On the beehive, the lid can be secured with a stone weighing approximately 2 kg .
🌬 Innovative ventilation – In warm weather or during transport, the lid can be turned upside down to create a ventilation tunnel above the frames. A bee-proof mesh prevents the bees from flying out.

Functional versatility: (Divider board available separately)

🔹 Flexible division – With a divider board, the hive can be divided into two 3-frame units to mate two queens simultaneously.
🔹 Adaptable use – After successful mating, the divider board can be removed to overwinter the colony as a 6-frame unit .
