The Bienenwagner swarm catcher has a practical semi-circular shape and consists of a sturdy plywood frame covered with a fine stainless steel mesh . This rustproof mesh ensures optimal ventilation and durability while preventing the bees from escaping.

The bottom of the catching basket is movable: the swarm can easily be poured in through the opening; afterwards, the bottom is simply pushed closed again.

For convenient transport to the beehive, the swarm catcher basket is equipped with two wide handles – one on the top and one on the side.
