Mushroom-head nails serve as spacers for frames without Hoffmann side panels.
The distance between the frames is approximately 7mm. With a wood thickness of 28mm, these spacers result in a precise comb spacing of 35mm. This ensures the correct bee space and minimizes the risk of the frames becoming clogged with propolis.
Four nails are needed per frame.
